Epcot’s Sunshine Seasons for Lunch
When Walt Disney World fans think of Epcot, they often think of the many wonderful table service restaurants located throughout World Showcase. But one of the best spots for lunch is actually a quick service restaurant in World Nature…Sunshine Seasons!
When my family visits Walt Disney World, we do many more quick service meals than table service meals. Finding variety at quick service restaurants can sometimes be a challenge and Sunshine Seasons provides an interesting variety.
Sunshine Seasons
Here are a few facts to get you started…
Park: Epcot (World Nature)
Area: The Land Pavilion (Downstairs)
Serves: Lunch, Snacks (Breakfast and Dinner are now grab and go only)
Unfortunately, Sunshine Seasons no longer has a full dinner time menu. Lunch is served from 11:00am to 4:00pm. From 4:00pm to 8:00pm the only options are grab and go. Hours may vary.
Where Sunshine Seasons stands out is in the food options. Many of the other restaurants serve mainly burgers, pizza, and chicken sandwiches. (Although Regal Eagle has changed the quick service dining landscape recently.)
But Sunshine Seasons offers options, such as Mongolian beef, Vegetable Korma, and oak-grilled rotisserie chicken. The chicken is a family favorite!
If you are in the mood for dessert, you can get strawberry shortcake, a turtle brownie, and more. They will often have a special dessert to go along with a celebration or festival. The 50th anniversary lemon chiffon was amazing!
Sunshine Seasons also has many delicious allergy-friendly options.
For a drink, you can get assorted coffee drinks, bottled drinks, and traditional fountain sodas.
If you are in a hurry, they also offer a grab-n-go case full of goodies.
You can see the full menu HERE.
The next time you are in Epcot and looking for the perfect spot for lunch, give Sunshine Seasons a try. You won’t regret it!
It’s been a long time since we have eater there. Going to have to give it a second look again!!
I love Sunshine Seasons as well! I feel like it is a best kept secret for Epcot dining because everyone usually eats in the World Showcase. I love the unique varieties and they do have some great desserts!
You’re so right about people heading to World Showcase to eat. I think a lot of people don’t even consider Future World!
Sunshine Seasons is a great spot for lunch at Epcot! We’ve eaten there many times. I always love looking at the decor in The Land while we eat!
You are so right about the decor. The atmosphere is part of the fun!
Mongolian beef!?!? I don’t know how I missed that! This will definitely be on my list of places to visit when I head back to “the world!” Thanks for the tip!
I can’t say that I’ve tried the Mongolian beef, but it sure sounds good.
I love Sunshine Seasons! The food is so fresh and there’s a great variety. It’s a great place to kick up your feet and wait for your Soarin’ Fastpass 🙂
Ahhh, yes. Waiting for those Soarin’ Fastpasses is always a challenge!
I haven’t eaten here for several years, but should give it a try again. So many restaurants, so little time to eat at all of them! My kids do love the chicken though.
For my picky eaters, it’s one of the few restaurants in Epcot that we all enjoy.
