How to Watch Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is currently still available for purchase in Blu-Ray and DVD format, as well as on Google Play, Prime Video, iTunes, YouTube paid movies, and Vudu.

The classic is currently included as part of Disney+.

What Parents Need to Know

If it has been a while since you watched Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, you may not remember that there are a few scenes that young or sensitive children may find scary. For example:

  • The Queen tells the huntsman to kill Snow White and bring her heart back in a box as proof
  • The huntsman approaches Snow White menacingly with a knife, but he drops it at the last minute
  • The scene where the Queen casts her spell is very dark and dramatic
  • The witch falls off of a cliff, but we never see her on the ground
  • Snow White “dies,” but comes back to life at the end
  • There are a few creepy dark forest and thunderstorm scenes

Germany Pavilion (Epcot)

Snow White regularly meets with guests at the Germany pavilion in Epcot. Be sure to check the Walt Disney World website for her current meet and greet schedule.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Magic Kingdom)

The recently added Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride at the Magic Kingdom takes you on a mine train ride through a mountain and features a few glimpses of characters and scenes from the movie.

Snow White’s Scary Adventures (Disneyland-California, Tokyo, and Paris)

Snow White’s Scary Adventures is a classic dark ride featuring scenes from the movie. The ride has undergone several changes over the years. Walt Disney World had their own version of the ride from 1971-2012. The Disneyland in California version is about to receive some major updates.

Festival of Fantasy Parade (Magic Kingdom)

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are part of the Festival of Fantasy parade every day at the Magic Kingdom.
